Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager based in Miami to oversee multi-site safety operations and ensure strict regulatory compliance across daily transport activities. In this role, you will direct safety teams, manage compliance with OSHA, DOT, and Hazmat regulations, and lead incident investigations, audits, and safety training initiatives to cultivate a zero-harm culture. The ideal candidate possesses at least six years of industrial or transportation safety experience, and three years in a leadership capacity. A valid driver's license, the ability to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time, and the capacity to obtain a TWIC card are required for success in this role. Apply here!

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the safety function across U.S. locations, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety and support safety-related policies and procedures.
  • Drive consistent implementation of safety programs across all locations.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Safety Supervisors and team members, ensuring accountability and effective execution of safety initiatives.
  • Oversee multi-site safety operations, including conducting site visits to assess conditions and support program implementation.
  • Lead and oversee audits, inspections, and on-site evaluations, ensuring deficiencies are identified and resolved.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify risks and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Lead accident prevention efforts and oversee incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Develop and oversee safety training programs, including supervisor and new hire training.
  • Conducts regular visits to operational areas to engage with employees, observe work practices, and reinforce a solid safety culture across all sites.
