This is an opportunity to join a growing, family-owned and operated business in a unique, niche industry. Our company provides accessibility lifts and small, specialty elevators for homes, places of worship, and commercial/public buildings. We are searching for a motivated & capable person to join our accounting & finance team in our Duluth, MN office.

This position entails the following responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly, commission, bonus and off-cycle payrolls.
• Benefits administration, billing, and reconciliation.
• Onboarding new employees.
• Audit support for taxes, 401k, and other benefits administration
• Submit periodic payroll tax reports, surveys, 401k submissions
• Accounting data entry and related work
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications – required:

• Payroll processing/benefits administration experience (2+ years).
• Accounting education/training (4-year degree or equivalent experience).
• Ability to discretely manage sensitive information and work independently
• Exceptional administrative organization.
• Reliable, timely follow through on assigned tasks.
• Professional phone & email communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Independent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications – preferred:

• Accounts payable experience
• Payroll software experience (Paychex)
• Accounts payable experience
• Insurance administration experience
• Accounting education/training (4-year degree preferred or equivalent experience)
