The Director of Risk Management reports to the SVP Chief Tax Officer and Treasurer and is responsible for identifying assessing and mitigating enterprise-wide risk exposures across the organization. This role leads the design and execution of global risk management and insurance strategies coordinates closely with Legal and external insurers and oversees insured claims and corporate reserves.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong analytical capability executive presence and the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance Legal Operations and business leadership. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in global property and casualty insurance alternative risk financing contractual risk transfer and claims management and has experience operating within a Fortune 500 publicly traded environment .
This position will be based in our Charlotte NC office and expected to be onsite 3x per week.

The estimated salary range for this position is $150000 to $190000 plus pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills experience and work location and is not typically at the top of the range. At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package including Medical Dental Vision plans 401(k) with company contribution paid time off paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
